This weekend, we will be holding an ice show called Ice Brave, which has a name reminiscent of Aokiji’s new technique. Please note the following additional important point for those attending:​

Aokiji (Kuzan) is a character on ONE PIECE with ice powers. Oh Shoma now I am wondering if you know Bleach enough to know Hitsugaya (also has ice powers).... who is your dead ringer when it comes to animanga characters...

Forming Friendships with Skaters​

Ice Time queried Miyahara on who she considered her best friends in skating after all these years.

"That is such a hard question," Miyahara replied. "In Japan, probably Kaori, Wakaba [Higuchi] and Rika Hongo. Those three are the closest. Of the boys, Kazuki [Tomono] and Koshiro [Shimada]. I am pretty close to them."

Miyahara then said, "I grew up competing with Shoma [Uno], so I know a lot about him. I am very close with [coach and choreographer] Stephane Lambiel, [and] I am also close with the Stars on Ice family members."

But bigger news: Mizuno is working with Shoma and he is their first brand ambassador for their recovery products such as mattress and pillows under Mizuno Sleep. After all these years, it feels very fitting for the #yawningshoma brand but also a pretty fitting growth of Mizuno's work with Shoma since 2019, as they branch out from activewear to now more lifestyle products.

Mizuno has signed its first-ever brand ambassador contract in the "MIZUNO SLEEP" category with professional figure skater Shoma Uno.

Through this partnership, Shoma Uno will use the "Refl Mattress 700" and "Refl Pillow" and provide feedback and advice on improvements and development of the "MIZUNO SLEEP" series. He will also participate in promotional and public relations activities. Collaborative projects are also planned for the future.

ADDING: Of course X / Twitter is buzzing about the blond hair. At first I got so distracted by Stephane, I was wondering why Shoma wasn't there with his terrible singing. WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE BLOND HAIR?

HES BLONDE 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 oh my god this is so.... him. I was actually a bit nervous about my flight tomorrow 😅 different transit than usual, its been a while since I fly overseas, all that. And Ice Brave is a new show concept too that we have no idea how it's going to go! But Shoma going blonde just made all my worries go away because its so chaotic 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Also this makes me think about how all the most artistic male figure skaters have that phase where they go out there and get some incredibly questionable hair style / hair color. It's time for Shoma to do it and join the pantheon of true skating artists 😌

I'm glad this is helping you be less stressed...and I'm glad I got to see a brown-haired Shoma this year. I think I'll just leave it at that. 😅

So true. I don’t know how many Hairography colors and styles I have seen from Dai over the years. It is Sho’s turn to express himself! 😊

Also thanks Yoji for the venue info... the Aichi venue is cold, maybe going to be a bit warmer when more people are there, so just wearing a hoodie may not be enough.

Have landed in Aichi and will make my way to Nagoya tomorrow! I have a dinner date with a fellow Shoma fan 🥰

Also, blond Shoma looks better than I expected, now that I'm seen some more photos! 🙂 (I still prefer brown-haired Shoma, but that can't be helped...)
