He looks really good! Love the sweater in the suit. Seeing him with Ashley makes me so happy. Skate America 2016 champions!! And Ashley mentions Shoma a lot on her podcast with Adam Rippon and (non-Olys champion) Sarah Hughes (The Runthrough) 🥰

^^^ I watched two of the videos before I said to myself I think that is Marin. Nice that they made the trip together.
I hope they have some time to explore and enjoy Boston a bit. Sho once said in an interview
that he has been all over the world but never had time to explore while he was competing.

Well now he can finally do that and with his lady. :love2: They'll have so many adventures together I am sure of it.

He has returned with a firm expression. Standing in front of the backboard installed in the interview area of the tournament is Shoma Uno, who retired from competition at the end of last season. The 27-year-old, who has won medals at two consecutive Olympic Games, put on a coat and gave a thumbs up in a suit and tie. The world champion, who won consecutive championships in 2022 and 2023, has returned in a different position.

Overseas fans have also expressed their joy, saying, "I miss Shoma so much. I can't wait to see him watch Yuuma (Kagiyama Yuma) skate," "He looks even younger than when he was competing," "Shoma has been competing since 2016. It shows what a legacy he left on the competitive side of figure skating.
 
Great to see Shoma in Boston. A bit sad that he can't seem to do anything on his own without Marin. Hear me out - working with your live in partner can cause problems and you have less to bring to the table as an individual. Hope he can strike out on his own professionally for his own growth and independence. I know some of you will disagree with me but there we are.
 
Shoma on the commentary booth from Fuji TV's terrestrial coverage of Women and Men SP (they aired it delayed and compressed to have a primetime slot at 7PM):



He commented on Kevin (called his personality and cuteness was overflowing in his program), Shun (admired his practices and mentality to deliver that skate even when nervous, even though Shun probably wanted better he definitely did better than Shoma did when he first competed at Worlds), Ilia (remarked how the audience was already standing before the end and it must be nice to know that when skating), and Yuma (amazing to deliver such amazing skate after Ilia, just amazing).
