Didn't see a thread, so thought I would start one.

Still recovering from the men's event but now it's time to dance

Gilles/Poirier weren't terrible. They aren't likely to be penalized based on the still significant differences in technical ability, but this was more dance than last season's tricks on ice, so good on them. Paul's a ham. I'm fine with it. Nothing special, though.

There are lots of fun polka programs this year but Julia ZLOBINA / Alexei SITNIKOV was just plain weird. I watched Virtue/Moir's in practice yesterday and someone will need to explain their musical thinking to me on that one as well.

I only saw the end but I did think it was fun. Possibly a bit slow. I'll have to watch it in its entirety later
