Some of them are out of date, like Rika's. Akiko's new IG is mariakko2010 but she doesn't post anymore :(

Mao http://mao-asada.jp/
Mai http://mai-asada.jp/
Kozuka http://www.t-kozuka.com/

A lot of them have Ameba blogs too (do you need specifics or do you just want to know if they have one or not?)
Suzaki/Kihara
Cathy Reed
Muramoto/Reed
Junko Yaginuma
Kenji Miyamoto

Yamato writes a blog for J-sports http://www.jsports.co.jp/skate/yamato/

Shoma has made it clear that he doesn't have an SNS account and doesn't intend on getting one.

Thank you. May I ask if there are any available videos for other skaters? [Yuna A., Marin, Rin, Mai, etc.)

Unfortunately, Mai's FS was never shown on TV because she didn't skate in the last 2 groups :(
I haven't seen the others besides the top 3 yet but hopefully they'll get uploaded soon. I have a feeling the usual people who upload videos are being more cautious than usual because Japanese TVs seem to be more strict with competitions than ice shows.

Yes, also hoping it will be uploaded soon. Thank you. :)

How did I miss this thread? Huge fan of Team Japan over here!! World podiums with Yuzu and Shoma and Mao and Satoko on them makes for a happy me, lol. Do you guys this Yuzu would ever get a social media account? I feel like he has to walk on eggshells a bit more than the others.

I do enjoy watching Yuna S. as well. Adorable beyond words. But her jumps are a little freaky if you know what I mean, especially that salchow and that axel... they're unlike anything I've seen :scratch3: I hope the technique doesn't become a problem for her in the future.

So thrilled to see Wakaba back to form. Now she needs to work on fixing that lip!

Yuna S has a very worrying jump technique which makes me think that when she hits puberty she may lose them for a little while. Fingers crossed that it doesn't happen. But I love her programs and style of skating and her dresses this year.

Can't believe Keiji got 4th place in the FS :hap10: Congratulations!
I hope his 4sal is truly consistent now and that he gets sent to 4CC in Taipei (I think his mother is from Taiwan?)

I really liked Kana & Chris's SD today. It was the first time for me to see them in action.
I like Emi/Marien too but Marien looked surprised at the low score they got today. Good luck to both teams tomorrow!

And good luck to the girls tonight too. Ganbatte Mariko!

Yay 5th place for Keiji in a senior GP, it seems like this season is becoming his best one so far! :hap57: And I agree, I'd really like to see him compete at 4CC - let's hope he'll do well at nationals too. Where did you get this information about his mother by the way? I had no idea.

I think Kana Muramoto and Chris Reed were really cute, and a very promising ice dance couple considering that they haven't skated together for long.

It's one of those things that seems to be commonly known amongst Japanese skating fans - Keiji's mother is Taiwanese, Ryuju's father is Russian, Satoko's parents are doctors, etc.
I just looked up his Japanese Wikipedia page and it cites a magazine published in 2012 as the source.

I liked seeing Shun Sato at the NHK gala! I thiiiiink this is the first time I've actually seen him skate? I'm sure his winning novice nats performance has aired or will eventually air on TV. One of the twitters I follow posted screen caps from an airing of junior nats yesterday so it seems it was aired again or they aired new footage? And still nothing uploaded that I can find, it's a bit disappointing

Here's a special TV program about Shun from last year (sorry if you have seen it):
http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2j1py6_佐藤駿くん-小5-夢に描くキセキ-3-11を乗り越えて_sport

It talks mainly about how he grew up in Sendai, how he looks up to Yuzuru, and him winning Novice B Nationals for the second time last year. This year he won Novice A Nationals and finished 15th at Junior Nationals. Unfortunately, even in Japan, Junior Nationals are not aired much (they only aired Ladies FS this year), let alone Novice Nationals :noshake:

I have seen it thank you for the translations.

In the past they have shown the winning programs from novice nats, two years ago they definitely showed them but yeah I forget about last year so I guess they don't always. I also think they showed more mens programs the other day. They usually do show the top three men as well.

I loved seeing the two final groups. Sakamoto did so well! I was surprised she placed so low. Rinka Watanabe was so cute but her jumps were small and not so great. It was interesting seeing the two novices Yamashita and Kihira too. I also really liked watching Iwamoto! I had only seen her name in the results before but she was nice to watch and her jumps looked nice too even though she got edge calls on her lutz and flip. It's just amazing seeing such a nice looking skate come in 10th at a junior nationals wow.
