So-Youn Park

As for the 3Lz-2T-2LoI kind of think that was to make up for the mistakes on the combo and the flip, no? Also, I felt that she was slower than usual on her jump entrances, is that what threw her off?

Also, go So Youn!! :cheer:

She said that she had to change temporarily to 3S-2T-2Lo before because she had a lutz problem and she fixed it now. So it was probably planned anyway since we saw her do it at Worlds where she made no mistakes. But yes, I agree with what you said about her speed. She seemed a bit down in the video.

Maybe stamina problem? Or she was saving her energy for the jumps?

Yuna will award the winners herself so I think all skaters will want to do their very best to not disappoint her as well as receive a medal from their legend. This is the first Nationals of post-Yuna era so Koreans will have a look of how the youngsters doing without Yuna's presence.

The podium will be good as So Youn, Hae Jin and Choi Da Bin as this order

If they don't make any careless mistakes/implode. Right now, both HaeJin and DaBin are both having a rougher season than SoYoun. That's why I'm keeping an eye on the younger skates like Eunsu, Joochae, and Jihyun.

the only symbol from that Daum site I understand is a bunch of watermelons  why is that? Better let @melon know this:biggrin:

LOL I was trying to figure out what you were talking about for like 10 mins. It's just an emoticon avatar thingy people put

^^ I think those melons perhaps resemble the levels of the users of that site, the bigger the melon, the more advanced the poster(maybe). So must let @melon knows this, melon of course will have the largest melon:biggrin:

OH :laugh2: Korean websites are so creative....meanwhile in GS.... lol JK.

Looks like she's having a rough time. All the jumps she landed were nice though, as well as the step sequence.

I agree.

I guess her foot problem/injury is still bugging her esp with the toe jumps. Plus that pressure. Yikes. Her skating definitely got more smoother but I still wish for more fluidity like wanting her to make some of her arm movements linger a bit more. She still needs to work more on her speed, but that's a given. Anyway, I'm lighting a candle for her and I wish her the best of luck!

Good job, Soyoun! :)
Especially liked the combination spin - the speed and positions were nice.
Anyway, are the protocols avaliable yet?
