So-Youn Park

I am at work right now so I can't watch. But I assume it's a good run through?
Best luck to you, So Youn!

well she didnt do her jumps so cant know for sure  but she seems to change her 2nd Sal with Lutz, so thats good news

she got no points from her 1st spin also which worths about 4 pts including goe, such a shame cause she has got great qualities about her(of course shortcomings too ) i really hope she can get it together for FP and for worlds

Me too! I hope she got into the top 10 again at least. She needs to build up her reputation and have more experience in international competitions.

Have faith, So Youn is a FS skater. She can make it.

Haha. I mean top 10 in worlds. I think she'll do quite well here (as long as her PCS isn't lowballed due to her sp mistakes *sob*).
 home ice pressure is not to be reckoned with I guess.
I believe she can make it to top 10 in Worlds.
Let's say top 10 is consisted of 3 Russians, 3 USA and 2 Japanese girls (I don't believe they could make it all, Japanese girls this season are just so so), there is slot for So Youn. Top 5 is possible if she skates 2 clean programs IMO.

After watching the SP event, I felt like something will go wrong in the LP event. I was sadly right...

Better luck, hun. Hope she regains her spirit and rebound from this. I'm actually surprised that she didn't mess up like crazy in this video. My goodness, I was actually worried about her after watching that one. So yeah, it does suck that she wasn't at her best especially in front of both international and domestic audience, but it's not her worst for this season.

maybe it's just b/c I don't have high expectations from her?

I'm sure she'll make top 10 at Worlds if she skates clean. For her first international season, I'd say she isn't doing bad, but I'd be lying if I said I'm not getting just a bit frustrated. So Youn has the potential to be great--not good, great, but she keeps letting her nerves get to her. :disapp: I'm starting to think that a foreign coach might do her good. Okay, I'll stop ranting now. Sending lots of good vibes her way for Worlds and I hope she comes back stronger next season! :cheer2:

I feel the same way! She hasn't done terribly this season but she hasn't done phenomenally either. She's like a ray of sunshine among all of my favorites right now. Her photos with Zijun and their friendship is so

also both of their EX's are "I Dreamed a Dream"

She hasn't imploded like Lipniskaia or Gold this season, but she hasn't delivered either, and that's quite disappointing. There are so many occasions when she could've medaled, but she headcased herself off the podium. If she can't get her mental act together, Korea will not have a viable ladies competitor come 2018.

I hope her time will come soon! I can't wait for her to really deliver her true potential and win , WIN And WINNNN :cheer2:
