It seems like she's been on vacation for like 3 months.
I do wonder what her form will be like at Russian junior nationals. Her competition let's be honest has gotten much tougher for Sofia than at the beginning of the season. Other compatriats of hers have had several competitions to improve and get better and they they have while the S - Kat has been just practicing. Both Sofia's and Petro for instance are real threats to SA now.

Many people start the New Year with a wish list or goals
I am no exception, and in early January I wrote my own.
Dreaming, of course, is always more pleasant, you can think of something complex, almost unbelievable, and sometimes it unexpectedly comes true.
Miracles exist!
But I think that setting goals is still more important and more useful. I decided on my own, I begin to move towards them.
What do you prefer, dreaming or planning?

Why did she score under 80 is it because they're holding her down because she's not seen your eligible next season?

Because juniors
Though, you have to consider this. For instance Sofia M. scored over 80 at senior nationals, but she jumped 3A instead of 2A, which Sofia A. cannot do here. With her 3A+3T she is replacing 3Lz+3T which makes "only" 2.1 point difference in BV and she does that in the first half of the program. I really hope the rules will allow to put solo 3A into the junior ladies short program once.

What's the difference if a junior does a triple axle in the short program or the free skate?

Sonia M must be so disappointed to score 80 points in the SP at senior Russian nationals and then to be in the 60s today at junior Russian nationals.

Daniil's little lifting of his eyes to the heavens and shutting them just before the start of the skate: I feel that.
I like her twizzling right in front of the judges, speaks of confidence. "This counts as a difficult turn? Watch this closely." Plus the loop into an illusion turn, that's neat as well.
