It's a movie set to come out later this month. It stars Ewan McGregor

the trailors started earlier this week.

I have no idea what it's about other than Ewan stars in it I know close to nothing. It's R-rated, and that's why I'm not sure if I'm excited about it. The Island was an awesome movie (critics know nothin) and this looks to be just as suspenseful.

Anyone else want to see this movie, or at least know what it's about? LOL

It sounds to me like it could either be very thought-provoking or a complete mess. I'll reserve judgment, although to my taste the synopsis sounds intriguing.

I saw a preview for it on apple's site. It looked pretty interesting, and i like most things naomi watts is in. So I bet I will see it if not in the theater than definately when it comes out on dvd.

Nudity and Language... with Ewan McGregor in teh film both are majorly possible...

I'm not being judgemental at all... I'm just trying to get insight into a perspective that I've never been able to grasp.

I understand being offended by language, but what about nudity is offensive? I am often really frustrated by the MPAA (ratings board) standards for what contstitutes an R rating. Their tollerance for violence and rejection of sexual content seems a little off balance to me.

have no clue as I think there are a couple where drugs are a big part... but I'm going to take a guess and say the Pillowbook Diaries (is that the title, I really don't know, but from what I hear he's naked for most of it lol)


I guess I'm just more of a "prude" when it comes to nudity. I don't find it entertaining or "art". and watching two people "bump uglies" is never something I enjoy (that was my biggest problem with The Island but it was pretty modest considering who starred in teh dang thing)

Violence is not as big a problem for me, as long as there's a "reason" for it... if it's just a violent scene so that the director could direct a violent scene and it doesn't give something to the movie I get confused as why it's there. And as long as it's not over the top at least it's believable in a way.

I just watched the trailer. It looks pretty interesting. I'm a big fan of Naomi Watts. It looks like it's rated R for spooky stuff and there probably isn't a ton of sex in it.
Liz, I think the movie you're thinking about is Trainspotting. He was in that, wasn't he?
