What appears to be an effort to remain artsy and emo-cool is just a tremendous waste of his talent

Looks like Kaoruko got her Omi beef already . ( I don't know why but this picture is making me laugh lol them just giving it to her like that. I honestly thought they gave a beef plushie as a prize too at first)

EDIT: Just watched the medal ceremony and turns out they did give her a beef plushie as a stand in for the meat

I’m almost to wonder if Kaori is training for a 3A? That’s the second time she missed a 2A recently (also in the THE ICE Finale).

That's an interesting thought.

I don't like this new program for her... again...
Of course it's always the skater's decision, and if she likes it and herself in it, okay... But now she just looks like any good skater. The dress is sweet and harmonious but boring, too. Where's my Matrix- and Gladiator-Kaori?

I missed them handing over whatever she's holding there during the ceremony and was appalled when I saw it
That can't possibly be the meat, right?
Aside from being disgusting to look at, I'm guessing it would be much too heavy to hold that way

If I caught it correctly, the second and third placements got awarded with beef curry. In that case, I think I’d prefer the beef curry. (I thought that was a beef plushies in the first place as well!)

In my defense, this is my first time following this comp and I'm not familiar with the meat handling situation . A plushie does make a lot more sense lol

Does everyone planning to follow the competition tomorrow know that the events will start 2 hours earlier than originally scheduled due to the typhoon expected to hit West and Central Japan?

This will be affecting to West Japan Middle and Grade School Student Competition happening over the next few days as well

Should've mentioned this during the Sr Women's event when there was likely more traffic

I don't believe so. Not sure of the connection but I did see at a couple of competitions last season where Nakano would assist him while his father was also there
