Tatiana Volosozhar & Maxim Trankov

Well, he was not little and was not grey  http://suft.ru/children/18.png
I think it's that big bow-tie which made Max remember about Leopold... Another feature of this character is, that he was very friendly and kind, too (in spite of being constantly pestered by two mischievous mice )

Don't know why i remember him as grey. We used to have a version of this show here in Israel in the 90's.

anyway.. this is cute! :)

This sounds laughable. They are competing at the highest level and have the second best score of the season, and you can't say that the judges have been especially generous with them so far unlike with some others-see Euros and GPF once again. Max had no visible problems in the Euros LP-on the contrary, he was helping Tania there as well, because (just in case you did not know) she was on the ice with a fever and a nose bleed that started just before the LP. You can see the nose bleed just after the LP again-when they go towards the boards. She was with a fever on the SP as well-she had a flu. But unlike some other skaters with the same condition, they did not use that information to gain sympathy, did not advertise it and went out, did their job and won.

I believe they also have the highest SP score of the season so, yes, they are very much at the top.

I can't help responding to this... You are such a humorous new-comer! Welcome!

From pain comes the humour. I want to laugh and forget the sadness in my chest.
Figure skating brings joy I admire all skaters who give us moments of happiness to forget many awful stuff.
Sorry this is not a humorous post but this is my real feelings at that moment, will try to be humorous again in the future.

I am sure you will forget the sadness and laugh again very soon, for life is very beautiful. :hap85:

:cheer2: Yeah Yeah lets be happy. Not that sad just wanted to add some tears and violin backmusic :sarcasm: cause I am a female and we have to add sadness from time to time.

Back to topic.

Anyone knows the confirmation of them going to worlds or not?

No official confirmation. I've heard that Fedor will return to Russia on 27Feb. We may hear additional info. After that.

As far as confirmation goes-they are preparing for WC. What further confirmation is needed? I thought it was all clear the first time they said it. They said that with 95% certainty they will go. I just don't understand why we expect to hear something depending on Fedor's return or to hear anything different. They are not basing their plans on Stolbova/Klimov. They will only consult with their own health, which I wish them to be in excellent condition.

I think I made some miscommunication:biggrin:. I didn't have any intentions for talking about confirmation actually. I should use word "official announcement":)
I've heard somewhere that the Federation will make an official announcement about Worlds champion early March, so I said like that.
I'm happy more than anything if V/T and S/K can join the competition. Hope Klimov will be ok.

Let's count down to Worlds together, It must be very exciting.

Nothing would be more epic than Volosozhar/Trankov and Stolbova/Klimov fighting for the gold at worlds.
Fyodor is posting his veins on instagram and seems to be wanting to prove he can beat V/T.
We will see. Please God let this show happens.

They are getting ready for the Worlds - this is good news! :dance2:

Indeed! I had little to no doubt they would be there, but it's nice to have some kind of confirmation.

What are everyone's wishes for Worlds? I want V/T to win (obviously) with S/K and S/H following, but realistically I'll be happy for those three on the podium in any order. My main wish is for all teams to stay healthy, especially with the number of injuries this season.

My wish is all teams be healthy and do a great show without falls, all have nice presentation and equal chances to get Gold. To help our environment and endangered species. :( :(

...

My actual wish: T/V wins gold, other teams good but not so good.

Actually I would be horrified if S/H skate there if all that was said about her eye injury is true. Detached retina is no small matter and operation within the same month as the competition doesn't sound like a good idea at all to me. I am squeamish that way. Don't want to know that a skater is not in good health-it detracts from my enjoyment of the performance because I think all the time how she or he must be in so much pain. In that respect as well as in every other Tania and Max are my perfect pair. They never announce beforehand how badly they are injured or ill, we only find out after the competition.

Oh gosh, is Sui's injury that serious? I didn't realise. I knew she was/is injured but not how badly. I hope they choose not to compete if doing so would put her health at greater risk.

Take it easy. Chinese will not give up halfway so easily since they have a very good chance of winning the World title this year. If you take S/Z's participation in 2006 Olympics into consideration, you will see what I mean. Actually I don't think Sui's injury is that serious as some reports said earlier, and they are the only hope to keep 3 spots for the Chinese pairs team next year, so withdrawing from the Worlds is out of the question for them, IMO.
