Tatiana Volosozhar & Maxim Trankov

Eastern European guys in general seem really sweet, there is a Romanian cardiologist where I work who is really nice and sweet.

I also really like the Klitschko brothers from Ukraine, especially Wladimir and his relationship with Hayden Panettiere

I am from Poland and I remember Mariusz Siudek kissing his partner's (and wife's) hand after each program. So does Maxim and so did Artur Dmitriev. Men from this part of Europe have something in common. They are very carring for women.

haha well, you are the exception that proves the rule then:laugh: I was joking, but I think that ice skating couples look better esthetically when the boy is much taller than girl. When I see a couple that have the same high I only can think... OMG is like she is going to kill him with a skate in the triple twist

I totally agree! It's more spectacular when she's tiny and he can throw her so high! When the lady and the man are more or less at the same high I suffer every time he lifts her up

Hi everyone!

I decided to join the forum just so I could participate in this thread!!

Thanks so much to everyone for sharing translations, links, and pics! You guys are seriously amazing at finding all kinds of info about their relationship! :agree:

I'm glad to see there are so many other people who are obsessed with Tanya & Max! They seriously need their own combined name--you know, like how Brad+Angelina = Brangelina? Any thoughts? :)

These pics were hilarious! In the first photo, you can see that Stas is not paying attention, but if you look carefully, you can see that Max is looking at them! He must have been thinking, "that should be me!"

Stephane always seems to be after Tanya! See these photos from his Instagram:
"My date for the night, privacy please!"

"Who stole my girl?"

I also like Max's replies, "Good choice" and "Hey boy, keep secret."

Though this one is my favorite pic of them, courtesy of Stephane

With all the photos they post I don't know how they want to "keep secret"

I was wondering something. Usually in many countries when some celebrity posts photos like they do on Instagram or have a documentary where they confirm a relationship the next second the media is full of articles on that, but I see that the Russian media barely speaks about and keeps on asking them every time if they're together. Am I right or I'm just missing something?

I know what you mean. When I asked on youtube "Are they dating?" the only answer I got from russian fans was "It's not your bussinnes" or "Why do you care so much?". Like I committed some kind of crime or something...

In fact, figure skaters in Russia don't have so much popularity as, for example, pop singers, actors etc. Some second-rate singer or actress from a TV-show can be more well known. There are loads of people who hardly can name any skater except for Plushenko... Those people who are interested in the lives of celebrities pay lesser attention to skaters than someone else. And as for sports fans, they can know the skaters rather well - but they are mostly interested in their sports achievements, not their personal life...

I understand know, thanks for the clarification borzaya. I was thinking figure skating is more popular in Russia since there are so many champions from there and that's why I was a bit confused.

You are right... It's like maybe some respect for their work. The mostly russian fans (real fans, not people who heard about them on olympics or after from magazines with sign not about figure skating) don't like to discuss their private life. I think it's their choose - not to say for media anything about their relationship. And many people (and me too) don't like when somebody climb into private...with questions "are u dating?" "you are living together?" "when you get married?" etc... If they don't want to talk about it, for what need to torture them?...
But i'm always said for everybody who said that don't understand their relationship - "Do you have an eyes? Just look at them and you will understand everything...";)

I understand. I was curious about the media, because it's a bit different from other parts of Europe. I can't deny that I like that they're together, but I'm not a fan of theirs for their relationship, it all started with the skating and I think that's valid for most fans. I was really hoping we'll see them at the Worlds but they do need some rest. And I agree, too many questions about their private life are just too much, they shared what they wanted in the documentary and that should be enough.

I think many here just got their wish granted, Maxim cut his hair.

I think the same. I think that it is quite nice that they don't throw themselves in front of a camera being like "oh look we're in a relationship- Let's make interviews" or something. I've loved them from the first moment on that I saw them skate :)
Oh and another in my opinion sweet photo. Made by Stéphane (and quite old as well^^)

Not quite sure that's the haircut I had in mind LOL! I'll wait until I see it at a different angle before I decide ;)

Trying to get caught up from the weekend's posts. Thanks so much to skatefan02 for the kiss & cry video after the LP in Sochi! NBC had broadcast most of what was in that video, but from a different angle, different side, and obviously closer up. Having said that, this video was better in many ways, capturing certain things we didn't see on NBC. Really made me feel like I was there!

And thank you, ntk87, for the video in Spanish! For me, that is Maxim at his cutest and sexiest

Couldn't have said it better myself, Annafer, when you talked about them living in an isolated house with just one person and that explaining all the nakedness -- ha ha! When I first read that Tanya said it had been boring, I thought -- yeah right

At the risk of appearing to be a fan that doesn't care about their skating (not true at all!!! ha ha), can I ask what YOU guys think? We can assume V/T are living together at this point, can't we???

Now for the most important part...... I have made a really good quality video on my phone of the NBC footage of the backstage Sochi kiss & hug, but my Iphone 5S is telling me that my only options are YouTube, Facebook and Vimeo. As someone said earlier, I'm a bit concerned that if I try YouTube, it might get taken down pretty quickly due to it being NBC's "property", and as I said before, I'm just not a Facebook kinda girl. IS VIMEO A GOOD OPTION?

Yes Vimeo is a good option as well. It's just not as know as the common ones like YouTube or Facebook.
And yes I'd say as well that they do live together. They lived in the same building anyways so why having two flats if you hang out in one together all the time?
We'll just have to see if the hair looks better from another angle^^

Vimeo is very good, like YouTube, just don't put their names or Sochi or Olympics in the title, description or tags because it will be deleted. You just have to give it a random name, like an abbreviation or whatever you want, so it can't be found at a search.

As for living together, I assume they still have both flats (or no) but probably only live in one of them.

I don't know what to say about the hair, I have to see it better. I was a fan of the Black Swan era hair. I wonder who cut it, usually it's Tatiana's sister who does it.

EDIT: I got my question answered. Tatiana posted a photo of her with her sister, so it was most probably her who styled Maxim's hair.

They could switch their flats every two weeks^^
And yes Olga is in Moscow probably to bring little Dexter back ;)
