I actually would believe it but that's still opinion and speculation I guess.I would never believe Valieva took anything, Eteri would never risk a medal or her reputation… not to mention Valieva couldn’t have smoked pot… it is still very unclear. I believe she might have failed to fill something in the system.
No one knows at this moment... We don't even know yet if she failed a drug test, had some legal problems or something else.Does this mean Valieva will not be allowed to compete in the individual as well?
Frankly, I don't know, but as I understood it, that was the account that posted the initial info, so I kept checking it for updates (I am not on twitter usually). Is this a reliable account? Because social media is... social media.

I'm afraid this controversy might drag through the entire Games, and even more could appear...Can´t these Olympics just be over?![]()

Hard to say but if Valieva's scores are not counted I'm pretty sure Canada wins the bronze. This would destroy her chance for the individual, too. If she's at the center of the scandal, we won't get more information since her privacy as a minor should be respected.
I really thought after Vincent it couldn't get worse.OMG, I don´t believe this. Please let it just be a misunderstanding. I´m scared now she won´t be allowed to compete in the singles event![]()
I would wait for a few more hours. If Kondratyuk is competing, it's probably not him, and after man's final, we'll probably get official information.Frankly, I don't know, but as I understood it, that was the account that posted the initial info, so I kept checking it for updates (I am not on twitter usually).
They have a reporter on the ground. One of the CBC reporters posted a video of the Inside the Games reporter asking a question at the press conference. Is this a reliable account? Because social media is... social media.
I don't know anything about who is running that account so I can't say whether to trust it or not.Frankly, I don't know, but as I understood it, that was the account that posted the initial info, so I kept checking it for updates (I am not on twitter usually).
Team USA would get an Olympic gold medal if Russia dq'ed and everyone else would move up a notch. Canada would make the podium. I hope it is not marijuana. I think these drug tests can be ridiculous considering how everyone runs to GNC to take vitamins and supplements to improve performance yet athletes can't take proper cold medicine or cannabis - which is a pain reliever.Would team USA still get their medals? And Japan?
Jackie Wong said just an hour ago that USA Today doesn't publish without verification, and since USA today points a finger at a different skater, I am not sure this isn't a hoax. Unless Team Russia had a wild party in Krasnoyarsk...They have a reporter on the ground. That’s a bit scary. Considering I myself take ADHD meds, would I have been under scrutiny if I were ever at the level as an Olympian?Team USA would get an Olympic gold medal if Russia dq'ed and everyone else would move up a notch. Canada would make the podium. I hope it is not marijuana.
