If Adelina has been 4th or 5th best on average, how is she all of a sudden 1st?
When was she 1st?

IDK What NBC broadcast you guys are listening to....
The NBC shown on my TV didn't have Tara and Johnny as commentators..........
If Adelina had the second best PCS of the night, then what was Carolina Kostner even doing at the Olympics? She has made a whole second wind in her career out of the PCS score because she is so fluid in her movements.Adelina has been getting, on average, the 4th or 5th best PCS in the world for 2 years now. It isn't like Zijun came out here and got higher PCS than Yuna.
When was she 1st?
I disagree. 2018 will be in Korea, and it seems people still bring up past controversies.
That was very kind of the Russians to grant Yuna a 0.09 victory on PCS. Now Scott Hamilton can claim she had the highest artistic score.
The tech caller is also Russian which would explain the high levels for Sot but no one else.

So when you said 1st you really meant 2nd.
I didn't say it. You should read the username more carefully.
But yes, I repeat my response as well. That was very kind of them to give her a meaningless 0.09 edge on PCS. Wouldn't want to draw too much suspicion with Adelina getting the highest components score. Wouldn't want her to lose too many points, either.
How can you use this as a reason to dismiss the opinions of the NBC analysts when broadcasters all over the world have exclusive deals to broadcast the Games in their country?
The question is, should Adelina's long program be the 2nd highest score ever? Even better than Yuna's Les miserables? Hmmm if you agree that it should be then there is no point in arguing.
The technical specialist (i.e., the caller) is French -- Vanessa Gusmeroli.
The technical controller, Alexander Lakernik, is Russian.
If you think 9 judges can get together and score 5 different components and plan to have one skater finish less than a tenth ahead of the other on PCS then I can see how you are so easily convinced that there was a conspiracy.
Overall this will be much less controversial than 2002 unless bad behavior from the judges is uncovered. Unpopular decisions always happen.
