Per the NYTimes, NBC seems like trying some teams to compete for the spots in the 2018 Olympics including Tara, Johnny, Sandra and Scott. One of the standards is "quick" analysis. It risks "shallow" analysis all the time...
If Adelina had the second best PCS of the night, then what was Carolina Kostner even doing at the Olympics? She has made a whole second wind in her career out of the PCS score because she is so fluid in her movements.
That was very kind of the Russians to grant Yuna a 0.09 victory on PCS. Now Scott Hamilton can claim she had the highest artistic score.

Overall this will be much less controversial than 2002 unless bad behavior from the judges is uncovered. Unpopular decisions always happen.

The technical specialist (i.e., the caller) is French -- Vanessa Gusmeroli.
The technical controller, Alexander Lakernik, is Russian.

Her program was gutted in between Euros and the Olympics, which is why she had much more energy to do her jumps well at the end of her Olympic LP.
I didn't say it. You should read the username more carefully.
But yes, I repeat my response as well. That was very kind of them to give her a meaningless 0.09 edge on PCS. Wouldn't want to draw too much suspicion with Adelina getting the highest components score. Wouldn't want her to lose too many points, either.

Good point. You are right in that it is my belief that their hands are tied as far as what they can say. It is also my belief that they don't give a rat's *** how fairly the scores come out.

Just out of curiosity, how does her TES score rank all time?

And the 3rd woman is someone named "Olga," Finnish national who was never been on a tech panel until 2012~2013 season. She's apparently there to follow the lead of "Alexander."
i think you are using the argument that it was not a conspiracy, which is a valid argument, to invalidate that the scoring was unfair/was correct. I presented a question to you before - either you believe the judging was correct, or that there was a lean to Adelina. Not just Adelina, but Yulia as well. What is your position on it?
You seem very out of touch with reality. This is not an unpopular decision. The close battle between Yuna and Carolina would have had people debating for years, with no accusations of scandal. Had Yuna or clean Mao had a close finish, again up for debate between their fans but no accusations of scandal. But Adelina's score simply does not stand up to scrutiny, and people as a whole do not accept the results.
It's not an issue of subjective judging and wishing the judges cared more about this instead of that...it's a matter of the public and skating world not accepting the legitimacy of the competition.

1st in total placements at the Olympics (and as Ven points out, practically tied for 1st in PCS.)
With this tone-deafness from the ISU as well as a few forum members who will advocate anything and anyone that is Russian, I now hope the S. Korea will not forget this robbery come 2018.
