I guess the Worlds spot is between Olivia and Janna now for Finland, but it looks like Olivia might have the best scores now?

Janna is still in the lead. Olivia had 166,89+169,93 and Janna 168,97+168,82; so very close but Janna has 0,97 points more. Both have still one more chance. I think Nella is already out as she is not listed to competitions which could count. Olivia is listed to Bellu memorial 18.-23.2. and Janna Road to 26 Trophy 19.-20.2. Are these competitions too late? Only Nella have the minimums in addition Janna and Olivia and others are too far even if they got TES.

Selma was a bit unlucky, as I see she got just a little bit under 155, as 155 is the demanded score (there are also some jump demands but that is not problem in case of her) in seniors to be able to be a part of national team. But if there is room int the team, I think it is enough as there are told exceptions.

Wow, that is close! I think they can decide after those competitions, it says that entries must be submitted no later than February 25th, which is a month before Worlds starts. I guess it depends if the Fed wants to decide before or not (I guess some Feds do because of plane tickets and all?).

I think World mins must be achieved at latest 45 days before the event, that is why next week is last chance to get mins, but deadline for entries is later.

Officially they havn´t named Mia for the Worlds teams, but in interview after Euros they already said she was going to Worlds to try to secure the Olympic spot and that was Mias big dream and goal for the season. I know Mia is the only one that has the mins and that she has the best scores so far, but I found it odd that they actually went out and said she was going to Worlds before Nordics was done as Linnea could potentially have gotten the mins and score above Mia. But - it´s possible Mias 12th place at Euros did settle the selection. All though they base selection also on two best scores during the season, other criteria may come in place, and good placement at international competitions does count also if scores are close. And before Euros she took the bronze at Volvo Cup, so I guess they felt confident saying that Worlds spot was Mias without having officially done the selection yet.

Linnea is btw going to Challenge Cup, so she could still get the World mins next week. It would have been good to have a sub.
