I thought this was rather humorous to post for you guys.

The little video clip starts out fine, with the birth of Joan of Arc, and proceeds to recount other things that happened on this day in various years... inluding 1994. Am I the only one amused that History Channel put this on their This Day In History segment accompanied by the other events featured?

^^ Compared with the other events, it may seem a little bizarre, but it was huge back then.

I think I saw Wikipedia mention it too.

It is an event that will live in sports history infamy forever and it certainly was history changing in that ratings soared for the Olympics and skating, as a result.
