This or That: Cafe Games

Musicals

See a musical on Broadway or Theater in the Park (Central Park)?

too tough to choose -- okay, I'll say musicals

Oklahoma! with Hugh Jackman playing Curly, or with Shirley Jones playing Laurie?

Curly, as long as it's Hugh Jackman! :love2: but I love Aunt Eller too, especially as she's portrayed in that version

Many a New Day, or Out of My Dreams? (preferably sung by Shirley Jones!)

Aunt Eller is my favorite character in Oklahoma! She has so much common sense!

Many a New Day, but I like both songs!

Oklahoma or The Farmer & the Cowman (Should be Friends)?

Oklahoma! (after all, it is my state song, and I made my kids sing it with me when we drove over the border going home!:)
But I actually also love The Farmer and the Cowman - especially Will's dance in the Brit/Jackman production!

"I Cain't Say No", or "People Will Say We're in Love?"

💕 both! Surrey With the Fringe on Top

Farmer and the Cowman, or I Cain't Say No?

💕 them both, but The Farmer & the Cowman wins this time around!

Farmer & the Cowman or Surrey with the Fringe on Top?

Tough. Farmer and the Cowman

"Poor Jud is Dead" or "All or Nothin'?"

"All or Nothin'" (but "Poor Jud is Dead" has some very clever, biting lyrics!

"Everything's Up to Date in Kansas City" or "It's a Scandal, It's an Outrage?"

(This has become a game between the two of us. I don't want others to feel excluded, though.) Do you think we should get back to topics for everyone? Not everyone is going to be as familiar & enamored with "Oklahoma" as we are.

"Everything's Up to Date in Kansas City"

"Mary Poppins" or "My Fair Lady"?
