Timothy Dolensky, born July 18, 1992 in Kennesaw, Georgia, USA, is an American figure skater. Dolensky has at least twice composed original music for his programs, has performed it on the piano, and recorded it himself.

Our favorite, Tim Dolensky, performed a short program to music he composed and played himself. Heard he was going for a triple loop+triple loop (but you know how that goes if you're not Tara Lipinski.) We love Tim. That spread eagle is everything. As always, bonus points for not puking

He reminds me of Paul Wylie or Todd Eldridge in his skating style - very classic lines and fast centered spins.

I'm really happy that he finally stepped up and showed what he's capable of in that FS. Hope he does well at Nationals and could be a dark horse for the podium if he continues to skate like this.

I agree with your opinion about his boyish looking and skating style. I thought he is 20 or 21. I really enjoyed his both programs at Skate Canada. I wish he is assigned to another GP if somebody withdraws, but it's not possible at this point.

Not sure if this was noted anywhere, but Tim is now training in Texas with Peter and Darlene Cain. He joins Amber Glenn, Brooklee Han, Alexei Krasnozhon and Ashley Cain/Tim Leduc.

He plans to do two summer competitions, the Atlanta Open and the Broadmoor Open.

I discovered the sport of skating because of Tim Dolensky. My godmother's cousins live in Georgia and learned through networks in communities of faith that there was a wonderful skater who worshipped with some of their friends. I found coverage on NBC last year of the Mumford and Sons program and I was hooked! Here is a faithful young man bringing joy to viewers through athletic feats and wonderful artistic expression.

Tim's first outing of the new season wasn't spectacular, but I think his programs have great potential and my wife and I keep him in our thoughts and prayers. We are thinking about going to see live skating for the first time if we can save up for a trip to Detroit. I must say thank you to Timothy for bringing skating into our home and letting us discover other wonderful talents.

I hope we can revive this thread and share news and thoughts of Tim's upcoming season, which will be full of wonder and excitement!

Tim just won the Eastern sectionals this afternoon in North Carolina with a beautiful free skate. He skates very quickly and with ease and has excellent spins. His triple axel looks very solid and reliable too. I'm glad to have seen him skate in person and look forward to seeing him at Nationals.
