I’m curious to know where this young lady is going. She could be one strong Japanese skater, just needs more packaging, which should come with time. I wish her a bright career! Tomoe and that girl from Hong Kong were the nicest surprises for me in this first JGP event.
I’ll forever treasure Tomoe’s toe jumps. I read somewhere that she learned to jump with Yuzuru’s old coach. I don’t know if that’s true but it just might be.

I wonder if she will get a second assignment because for the moment Moa Iwano is getting a second assignement but Tomoe scored higher than her with same placement...

I've just updated Tomoe's OP. I've added all the results, programs and as many videos as I could find. Enjoy :)

There should be an updated as it was confirmed after the JSF junior FS skaters' camp that Tomoe had a coach switch.
Her new coaches: Yutaka Higuchi and Yukina Ota
So now she's 'relocated' to Meiji Jingu Gaien Ice Skating Rink

Thanks for the info! I've already included the coaching change in her OP.

I have just watched Tomoe's SP. The speed, 2A, 3lz, every movement to the music and flow were absolutely amazing (she reminds me sooo much of Yuna btw). I just wish she hadnt turned 3toe loop in her combo and solo 3 loop into doubles. However, I wish her to wrap those nerves under her hand and show her consistent side in her FS. Goodluck Tomoe.

Gorgeous program--so nice to see skaters using classical pieces. Her jumps are huge--she just needs the confidence to really go for things. My favorite Japanese junior. Gambatte for the free skate Tomoe-san!
