I read yesterday that he injured a shoulder in practice. At that time, I guess he was still planning to compete but obviously that changed. POOR TIM!!! I hope it's nothing too serious.

Go Johnny!

Almost 2 points better than his SP score at NHK, and almost 10 points in front of Joubert. I suspect Joubert did not have a good skate - I can't wait for more details on who did what. Rooting for E-man too!

I'm anxious to hear what Joubert actually did out there...

It was reported on FSU that E-man had 2 falls (2.00 in deductions seem to support that). But no news that I've seen on what Jourbert did / did not do.

I was really hoping that all 3 of these guys (4 if Tim hadn't pulled) would all skate clean to see how the scores stack up in a more "perfect" environment.

Great news for Johnny though!!! Can't wait for the FS.

waiting for that free skate...

It is definitely going to be something to watch! I also wondered what happened to Brian; he had no deduction, so I guess there were no falls, maybe he poped some jumps or somethin  , and Johnny, my oh my, he outdid himself compared with the score at NHK, and his prsentation scores are off the charts, way to go!!! 👍 I'm looking forward to see Daisuke, I want to see how he skates. The presentation scores are low compared to Johnny's and Emanuel's, but he got good score on the technical merit. And Emanuel record a better score than in SC, good for him

On a fun note, I just checked that Johnny, Daisuke and Brian have the same choreographer: Tatiana Tarasova. I imagine they must have skate together over the summer, I imagine those practice sessions where something to watch as well.

Interesting point!!

I hadn't even put that together. I had heard Johhny trained with TT over the summer and of course know that Brian trains there (Daisuke hasn't been on my radar, but I can't wait to pay attention to him now). I bet there must have been some interesting practices!

I can't WAIT for 7AM tomorrow morning for the Men's FS. I don't want to tempt the Skate Gods by saying anything about what I hope to see for Johnny! And also E-man.
