Quite a Sports Weekend. Very very sad about Smarty Jones, and I loved Mrs Witney who also was sad that he lost.

The French Open Where was Riddick; where was Selina? Americans have always had trouble at roland Garos' clay.

Congrats to both Argentina and Russia for a good battle between their own. I know Argentina has won many grqnd Slams but is this Russia's first?

A Russian named Marat Safan won a few Grand Slams a few years ago, sometime I believe in the late 90s.

I think some various and sundry Russians have won some Grand Slam doubles titles over the years, too.

Gaudio has WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm with the flu, but I cheered for Coria and Gaudio (I'm from Argentina, so you can imagine) untill my vocal cords stopped working, I love them both, but to be honest I wanted Gaudio to take the trophy because he has been eaten alive by the press for not been enough of a fighter at the last Davis coup. This will show them.
And anyway, I think that Coria will have many more oportunities to win a Grand Slam because He's really good, and Gaudio is very inconsistent.
So I'm Happy for Gastón, but a little sad for Guille.
Anyway, GO GAUDIO and good luck for all the Argentinian players at Wimbledon. Spetially for Nalbandian, 'cause two years ago he lost the final to Hewitt, so I hope this year He'll win it.

I was so happy for Anastasia Myskina! For me, this was the best Grand Slam since Steffi Graf won the French Open 1999.

After Steffi Graf, I haven't had a true favorite until Anastasia Myskina came along. Though, I've always liked Jennifer Capriati too.
