Véronik Mallet is a Canadian figure skater. She was born on 11 June 1994 in Sept-Îles, Quebec, Canada. She is the 2022 Canadian national silver medalist and the 2015 and 2019 Canadian Nationals bronze medalist. From 2013/14 to 2015/16 season she also represented Canada in the Four Continents Championships. In October 2016 Mallet injured her foot, which obliged her to withdraw from the 2016 Skate Canada International and which finally led to her missing two seasons.
She is coached by Bruno Marcotte and Brian Shales.

How Véronik Mallet pronounces her name ( video by sabinfire ):OP by Layback11
Of all the Canadian ladies, Véronik Mallet is probably my favorite because she is very entertaining to watch! She is one of those skaters who, excuse me if I sound cliche, just radiates joy on the ice, a bit like Elena Radionova does, if that helps get the point across. I tend to like skaters who look like they're actually having fun (which is less common than you would expect), so she is a skater I very much enjoy watching. I haven't watched her in a while, so I don't know how technically strong she is, but I would really like for her to have a breakout season this year!
