Wakaba Higuchi

^^^Oh my gosh, how cute is that?! And I'm so happy to see her beautiful smile as opposed to her Kiss and Cry tears. She had me crying! :sad4:

Gotta say, i like the way Nathan placed his head on hers. Very sweet indeed, and wakaba looks very pretty

Wakaba posted tons of fun banquet pictures on her Instagram! The link to her Instagram is on the first page :)

I will also update the first page with her 4cc results very soon. I hope she is t too hard on herself. I'm sure this will be motivation to perform better at worlds.

Wakababy has arrived in Helsinki!

She said she started over from scratch as soon as she got back home from 4CC, practiced a lot and had many clean run-throughs. "I'm not feeling pressure; it's true that keeping 3 spots will be difficult, but I think everything will be fine if I show what I can do".

Good luck Wakababy! Show everyone that they were wrong about writing you off! :hap10:

Since she didn't withdraw, I assume her injury isn't that bad. Though I pray she isn't pushing herself so hard and worsen her injury.

I'm no big fan, but I appreciate her determination. Good luck Wakaba! :hap10:

Hope she can deliver in Helsinki! She is such a great talent :hap57:

I have no doubt that Mai's reliable consistency can make herself land in top 5, but Wakaba needs to step up as well in order to retain the 3 Olympic spots for Japanese ladies. With her immense talents, she can do that. I wish she nails everything in her programs.

She's mentioned working on it in the past, I'm glad to see she's trying it out!

So happy and proud of Wakaba after her short. I loved her program. For her first Worlds, despite under such pressure, she skated so well. Hope she does wonderfully in her free.

I thought she was underscored too. Her LP is a strong program though so I'm betting on some improvement there in her placement barring pops.

Go Wakaba!!!
