Wakaba will be going to Canada and Russia for the GP; tough assignment, but I will be cheering for her to make it to the Final!
I worry a bit about his Grand Prix picks why did she choose Skate Canada when he was proving that Japanese women are often under-scored? for her choice of COR I expected it because she likes Russia a lot and a revenge to take because of her 3S miss during her competition of the last year which is worth to him the 3 place, it will be difficult to make the final but I think she can do it.

I want to see that warmly September.
Waka didn't chose any assignments, it's how the ISU/federations assigned her. I know a lot of people love to make a big deal out of WC podium finishers "getting their wishes", but while they're allowed to voice preferences, it doesn't mean ISU will follow them. For all we know, Waka might have wanted different GPs.

lol I'm so excited about this choice that as soon as I read the fan report I came here.Wakaba SP music: Energia by Sofi Tukker Choreo: Shae-Lynn Bourne

3F-3T combo seems risky
She probably just tagged the 2T unto the flip because she missed the lutz, I'd think ^^

59 is reasonable enough for a first competition, it does not surprise me because there are three days she was in France so the jet lag may not help her fitness, bravo Wakaba
Some side note: I tried to look it up and apparently this competition is still using the old GOE scale from 17-18 season. So this score is not directly reflected from how the scoring system will be working by the new rules just announced!
