It does not seem to hurt as much when you are young. Have you ever noticed how quickly the skaters recover from a fall? It's all a part of training.

This is true, and something I find totally astounding. Last time I fell on the ice, I lost my nerve and never got back on again hwell: It's not like that's any great loss to the sport though
