It's good to read that Nick Drake's music is appreciated also here on GS. He was a fantastic musician, who left this world way too soon...
Now I'm listening to some very far-out, experimental music from 1967. The album's name is 'Parable of Arable Land' and it's by a Texas-based band, Red Krayola. I love listening to crazy music like this in the middle of the night!

Haven't a clue why, but this song has been stuck in my head for the past few days:
The Mamas & The Papas - "Creeque Alley"
Not that I'm complaining! They were great!
Now for another song that I haven't been able to get out of my head the past few days. Except, in this case, I do know why. It is because I have been listening to old clips of my favourite radio show, and a few seconds of this song was at the end of one of the clips.
As it is a local band that are not widely known, there are not many places to find the song. It is not on YouTube. So, this is a link to it on the Bandcamp site of a music centre in Belfast:

Simply beautiful.
I absolutely love this song. And it makes you realise just how much of an impression a song has made on you when, after not hearing it for around 5 years, you still know all the words!

I loved everything about Sochi ceremonies :agree: I was so sad during the closing and extinguishing of the flame
I also shed a tear when the flame went out in Brazil.
