OK, so strictly speaking it was last night I was listening to this. But, I didn't get a chance to post it then.

Currently catching up on this year's X Factor, and have reached George Michael week.

I thought this was amazing, and by far the best performance of the Saturday show. :rock:

Then again, the only other act I liked that night (Jack and Joel - "The Edge of Heaven" ) got voted out, so... :slink:

To be perfectly honest, Matt was lucky to even get doing this performance, because he wasn't great the week before ("Viva Latino" week, where he sung "Livin La Vida Loca"). But, very few of the acts were good that week, so that shouldn't be held against him. It just wasn't a great theme for the contestants that were on the show.

I should add, I haven't seen the Sunday night show from George Michael week yet (watching it tonight). And I don't know what subsequently happened in the series (it's amazing: a few years ago my Facebook news feed would have been full of X Factor talk. But for the past couple of years - nothing at all! :shocked: So, I have been able to let myself get behind).

So, no spoilers please!

Piers Morgan?! HELL, NO!!!!

I used to like Sharon, and was delighted when she came back. But she doesn't seem to be interested any more.

I like her as a singer, but I can't stand Nicole Scherzinger as a judge. And it was the same with Kelly Rowland.

If we're bringing back anybody, bring back Rita Ora - she was absolutely brilliant as a judge. Or else Tulisa, who I was surprised to find that I liked as a judge, as I don't like her type of music.

But, the programme has long outrun it's course. It has been running on steam for a few years now. It was obvious that the 2016 series was designed to be a big swansong when they brought back Dermot and the original judging team.

The only reason it was back in 2017 was because Simon managed to get the X Factor bundled in with the new contract for Britian's Got Talent, which ITV did want because it is still popular.

And I hated the change of format for this series. Major mistake.

He he why not! He offended enough football and cricket fans to get them to watch the show just so they could have a twitter's war with Piers. Lol.

Haven't got around to watch Britain Got Talent this year either. Any interesting acts?

EDIT: My little cousin has just reminded me of her hometown girl (Milton Keynes) Sarah Ikumu. So...I did watch some after all, just Ikumu and Tokio to be exact. For some reasons I though it was last year.:slink:

Anyway, 10 days to Christmas and this year Christmas is all about George Michael for us it seems. I hear December Song (I Dreamed of Christmas) last night at the party and yeah gone too soon.....
