What are you listening to right now?

Fat White Family - "Whitest Boy On The Beach"

I have to be honest - this is not my type of music at all. But 2 of the band members went to school with me, and today is the birthday of one of them (the lead singer, who was in a few of my classes). So, I thought I should listen to something of their's to mark it.

Warning: This song is actually quite tame by this band's standards. So, I wouldn't recommend looking anything else up if you are easily offended. (And that is why I'm not a fan, even though I know 2 of the members).

Before yesterday, I had never heard the song. Now, I've heard it so many times I almost know it off by heart! :cool:

The question is: will I be sick of hearing it when I listen to the song for the 4 millionth time in a few days...? :laugh: :rolleye:

I learned this on guitar a few years back and had a girlfriend who could sing it amazingly well. We even performed it a few times at open mic nights. The lyrics are really simple but drive a very powerful story. I wasn’t intending to listen to it...the power of shuffle and all but now I’m thinking I may grab my guitar after work and relearn it.
