What happened to all the old threads?

I clicked "view all posts" while editing my profile, and a lot fewer posts than my total number came up - are threads/ posts deleted after a certain amount of time?

no they're all in archives that you can view

the upgrade to the latest greatest of vbulletin still has kinks...
