What happened to my post count?

What happened to my post count?

I just noticed that my post count went down by about several hundred. It was about 1200 and now it is 550.

During an upgrade that was needed for security posts, the count may have been affected. I sincerely apologize for this.

I see that it has affected mine as well.....

What is that? Am I less secure because I wasn't effected?? Now you got me curious. If it is NOMB I apologize for asking, but I was wondering.

Behind the scenes, in what is called the Admin Control Panel, there are a lot of things that can be done to "tweak" the forum, i.e.: clearing caches, updating SQL tables, diagnostics to repair necessary tables, etc. Lots of boring things to you, but a necessity.

Hence, when some of these things are run, it may have recounted posts by users and deducted postst that are no longer counted in some forums (i.e. Test, Voting, etc). It's really hard to say.

Usually, but not always.
But, I do like to party. Maybe I should have one for losing post counts.
