Hi! I currently have Jackson Freestyles and have had them for the past month. I got fitted for them and I am currently in Freestyle Silver. I am consistently working on my single jumps and am going to begin axel soon with my coach. I have been skating plenty recently averaging 8 hours and may skate more soon. For reference I am 13 and around 85 pounds at 5’1”. They felt great at the shop and comfortable. Recently i’ve been noticing some heel slippage and the aspire xp blades keep making me rise up onto my toe pick during my sit spins. The back of the ankles have been causing me some pain as well. I’m not sure if i was fitted to large since i notice I curl up my toes during jumps and my arches seem to cramp intensely. I do have medium arches as well. I have greek feet and medium/narrow feet that are small. They are 14 cm long and 7.5/8 cm wide at the ball. My toes are 7.5 cm wide and my heel is 4.5 cm wide. The fitter told me my next skates which will be in about a year are likely going to be edea overtures. After some research it does seem edea would fit well but i’m still not sure. Does anyone have any suggestions to help my skating pains or and ideas?? What will my next skates likely be and what should I try on? Thanks!
