I would say it was Javi that had the excellent taste. But, I am totally biased. I have always had a massive crush on Miki.

Oh. My. Goodness!!!
I never actually realised that Miki had skated to that song! I just always thought of her when I heard "Mickey" because of her name and, let's face it, the lyrics are true when applied to her!
Or did I subconsciously know?
I've never really paid attention to "Stars On Ice" over the years. Was it just me, or was that a smaller rink? Miki seemed to be running out of space a few times early on in the programme, but adjusted as it went on.
To be honest, I thought the choreography could have been better during the line I quoted in my previous post that prompted this conversation. But, on the whole, I absolutely loved that programme!!!
But, gaaaah, the commentators!!!
Could they not have shut up and let us actually hear the music?! 
Anyway, since this is a thread about costumes, can I just say that I loved Miki's costume. It really did show off her amazing legs.

I see and raise you for cats costumes with this video of Lim/Quan skating to Cats. She has gone all out on the costume, while his costume is minimal except for a collar that looks like it could be an actual cat draped around his neck.

Ah the program that made me love them. I would've given her an award for her ears as well as the marvelous costume. As for Ye - he is no Rudy Galindo.

Aha! I see what you are doing. Trying to appeal to all the librarians we have on here (there are quite a few!) by mentioning the Society for the Scientific Study of Reading.
Don't worry, I'm jesting with you. I know you were being your meticulous self, and transliterating "СССР" into Latin characters.
And, yes, I did go to the bother of switching to the on-screen Cyrillic keyboard to type those letters rather than just use the Latin letters that look like them. If you can be meticulous, so can I!
