OK, since my post from last night has got a lot of reactions, I should probably point out that this was a joke based on the fact that @elektra blue has for years been complaining about Katia's costumes.

This is more elektra's style:

Now you've got me wondering when the last time I saw a "Little Mermaid" programme was. Well, I know I saw one or two this season amongst the very young skaters. But, I mean from the Juniors and Seniors.

For that matter, has anybody ever done a programme to Ursula's song, "Poor Unfortunate Souls"? I can't remember ever having seen one. But it would be cool. A very different vibe to the "Under The Sea" programmes that they normally go for.

Here is Michelle Kwan doing Part of Your World and Under the Sea from the Little Mermaid in a Disney's Greatest Hits TV special (also starring Elvis Stojko). Well, Michelle was under a million dollar comyract with Disney at the time.

As for the costume, I think that the designer spent his entire fabric allowance on the tail and forgot to order a top.

By the way, the thread posted today about Amber Glenn raises the possibility of a new category for next year -- best tattoos. (Not that Anber has any, but the interviewer did.) I assume that Paul Poirier would be the preseason frontrunner.

But, I thought it should be brought in here because it backs up a point I was making - that Julija Lovrenčič's SP costume (which won the "Camp" award) was actually quite tame and that she could have gone a lot further.
