Will JGPF be Broadcast?

Does anyone know if and when the JGPF will be broadcast?

I would think that CBC or TSN/CTV might want to broadcast an event where Canadians won! :scratch:

I want to watch V&M win Gold!

JGPF has never been televised in the US. Last season, we didn't even get to see Junior Worlds.

It is usually broadcast in Canada the week after Nationals in January. I know that seems ages away from when the competition takes place, but being that Junior skating doesn't attract near as much media attention I'm just glad we get to see it at all! I couldn't tell you for sure of course about this year, but I'm gonna assume it's being broadcast the same time this year as all the other years. I can't see them showing it all the other years and then ditching it after a Canadian win

LOL I was totally wondering that!

I believe it might be broadcast. I'm not sure, with all the cutbacks at CBC, you just never know....

However, where it will be broadcast, if broadcast at all, at least in Canada, will be CBC. I emailed D.Wilkes, and she said that TSN/CTV only have rights to national events...I think.

CBC broadcasts all international events.

I just wrote a letter to CBC about getting this information to the public. Plus, hopefully I'll be able to get some footage
