In most old rinks
you're lucky to get a coffee vending machine that works!

(One rink I skated at in Montreal had a machine that was perpetually out of sync. The caretaker started it off in the morning with a coin that caused the coffee to pour, and then the first empty cup dropped down. The first actual user then got to fill that cup, and another cup then dropped down for the next user. And so on all day. No one was ever able to repair it.
