after their practicve they bowed to the audience, then while at the rinkside bowed to Tamara as well

As for pairs I didn't take notes and was a bit late. Kavaguti and Smirnov did a couple of 4S and practiced the 4Lo for a moment. I've never seen such a high jump. Can't remember much else but the pairs didn't seem to be as strong as ladies or men.

As for the stomp - he doesn't want to leave it all on the ice at practice. He's saving the passion and proper stomp for the competition.;)

I wasn't able to watch the competition yesterday (time zone issue) but I'm happy that they did well.

Once they tried it. In the gym they managed it but on ice the twist wasnt complete & he hit his jaw hard & he couldnt eat properly for a week (poor bb!)

It's a very clever music choice actually. People here might not like the song because it's not something they would ever listen to. However this is a song that did very well in the international music charts, so there is a large audience beyond hardcore FS fans on GS that liked/likes this song. The song is also about a mature romance and given that Yuko and Sasha, in figure skating terms are a more mature pair, the image that is projected is entirely appropriate.

Interesting point, adelia.

Personally, I don't actually actively dislike the song, as it's more a lack of liking on my part. It doesn't add much for me, but nor does it detract in a way that makes me unable to enjoy Sasha and Yuko's beautiful skating - besides I do like the voices, if not the melody and song as such. So... it could be worse.:)

It sounds like Muzak they play in offices or dr.'s waiting rooms...it's just so bland & saccharine. However, I like the rest of the program, & just hope they will not keep this one for 2 seasons.

haha here I only heard radio & relaxation/lounge music played in the dr Offices:laugh:
 
I'm happy for them, and thrilled that I may see their 'Manfred' at Europeans. :love: *fingers crossed* The best of luck for tomorrow's LP! I think both programs suit them very well this year. :)
