Yulia Lipnitskaya

There is no reason to cry. It started bad and finished bad. Stuff do happens.
Take a good rest and prepare for the new season. Not the end of the world.

Agree. Look at Liza! She made a strong come back. Yulia can do the same. At least now she will have more time to prepare for the next season.

Oh dear! But at least this time I've been able to watch the whole of it.
I think she really ought to take some time to sort out herself. I hope she doesn't give up.

I doubt there will be a skater which is not going to face bad periods. Today it's me, tomorrow it's you. This is how it works, so there is nothing to be alarmed. If she "lost" her jumps she will not continue, and that's fine. Otherwise she will be back stronger and will learn a lot from this experience.
She did compete although she was not in her best form, and I'm proud of her. It's one of the things I loved about Mao also.

Last year we saw a tiger ready to pounce on anything that moved. This season we saw a fragile soul with delicate soft movements. I can only imagine what a combination of the two would look like when she regains her center. I do think a lot of this is mental at this point but I wouldn't discount that she is filling out....becoming a woman in more ways than one.
I hope she doesn't compete until she is back in top form. Hopefully a little time on the sidelines watching others do so well will spark a fire inside again.

She's so tiny, you gotta wonder when she's finally going to hit a noticeable growth spurt. With all this time off, we might see a much different Julia return next season, mentally and physically.

We've seen today that she CAN skate perfectly well. She delievered two beautiful VERY difficult COMBOs at the beginning of the programm. I think it's okay, she's not ready for Euros this season. She needs to rest now, and start to set her new programms for next season in advance. Not late august, please. And if she will do just that, she should skate at Challenger events in next season too.
Also, she needs to throw these boots out, if she's still not comfortable with them, and try new ones. She have nothing to lose anyway. IMO she should try. She's a fighter, she'll be okay.

Heartbreaking to hear what happened but its only one bad season. No one should be defined by one season whether it was a good one or bad one :cheer: She's already done so much at such a young age and shes still has such a bright and long future ahead of her. Hope she starts anew next season and come back fighting! :cheer2:

It will be hilarious if she comes back with Mulan. :laugh2:

For me I think that this season is actually a good thing for Yulia, and it arrives at good time. Last year she had a wonderful season and was a revelation in the entire world. It was an exhausting season, and her difficulties are a message to show her that she has to relax, she needs time to go down and focus on herself. Now she can takes all the time she needs to practice far of any stress and tension.
This season is just à step, but an important and formative step in her career she is only 16, she will back stronger than any of other skater.
She is an amazing talent. I am sure she is going to progress.
Our precious Yulia will amaze us.
(sorry for my english again)

Well, at this point, anything is better than R&J. Hopefully that program gets buried where no one will find it again. And, bring something a little less tragic next season, please.

There is nothing wrong with the program, and it's not tragic at all. It's not about the Juliet dying, so I don't understand where do you see the tragedy. Besides, if she wanted she could've changed the LP agains, since she was offered to do so.
