it could very well be. It looks stunning (the dress). Btw can the mulan program be watched anywere like a test skate video or something? Although I love, love her Free program (the music and the light blue costume) I think it wasn't meant to be for this season.

I think those gloves were given to her by Yuzuru Hanyu? They are from his home rink in Sendai, so they are not kittens, it's the rink logo...

I won't. I've just read an interview of Tatiana Tarasova who is an advisor to Sotnikova's team. Tarasova says that Sotnikova's left leg was injured wen she was jumping flip. My question is: why Sotnikova had her RIGHT leg in the cast all the time? They are not sure wich leg has been injured?

I'm also skeptical tbh, but the claim IIRC has always been that she had issues with one ankle and then the issue that required a cast happened to the other side.

Maybe she bought the gloves at Saitama WC last year. They had some donation booth which sold these gloves at Saitama. It's cute that she still uses them. The logo is very cute indeed.

Like I already said, I disagree.
Her Nationals performance was BAD. Even if Russian Cup Finals possible performance will be bad too, I doubt it will be worse than her last one. But it's a chance, why not to take it? She has nothing to lose at this point.

I'm not concerned either way if she competes again or not this season all that much. I guess though I don't want her to compete again until she is back to being competitive. What I hope now more than anything is that she starts working on those jumps soon. Real soon. That and a new program which she can maybe roll out at the world Team event if given the chance.
I'd like to see her have her programs choreographed and practiced before her big summer rest on may or June but she needs to keep her jumps in check big time this summer. Maybe do a few shows and in them do the harder jumps and not just 3t's. She can then start training again in July with the programs already complete. Then she can hit a few senior B'a and maybe a Russia cup event before next years GP. She has plenty of time but I don't think too much rest will be a good thing and likely it was partially to blame for this season. I'd rather see her over prepared than ever underprepared again.
I guess my point is her last summer was her chance to rest. Considering her current state she may need to work harder than ever sadly.

Those gloves are lovely and I believe Yulia has more than one pair. Because it seems to me that the ones she was wearing in GPF were not the ones she wore in the worlds this year. I believed Yuzuru has given the gloves to many skaters including Nam and Orser (I saw pictures in which they were wearing them) but I think Yulia wears them more often. 
I still cannot deal with the fact she is not able to go to the worlds next year. I bought the tickets of ladies mostly because of her. I do not know who to watch in that game now. Other skaters are great, yes, but Yulia is the only girl now that catches my heart. I am so sad but I know what I am feeling is nothing compared to what she is dealing with right now. So still hope the best for her.
