I agree that a different choreographer might be better. But who? Tat doesn't suit her IMO. And please let it not be Morozov.
Or Sotskova's choreographer?
 
Who's Sotskova's choreographer? I have always found her programs extraordinary, and I think that that type of programs would suit Julia, too.
(And, it is heart-warming to see that there are fans that Care so much about a skater, it makes the world look less full of hate and rage :o: )

Ilya is interesting because he creates a story. And Yulia already successfully finalizing this story.
As for me, it is not interesting to watch an abstract though beautiful skating.

Sotskova's choreo seems to be Ilona Protasenia, Vera Arutunian, mainly the former.

@sidj: Till now I have to say that I love Ilya's work for Yulia. Both her programs last year were great. Her short program this season is great too, and I love R&J also no matter the problems she seems to have with that program.
I don't know about Mulan, but maybe we would've loved that program too.
Anyway, yes there is a choreographer which I would love for Yulia. It's the ex choreo of Yuzuru, Nanami Abe. I just love that woman and I think she is one of the most sensitive/musical choreographers out there.
She did R&J for Yuzuru, and all his programs before that. She continue to do his gala programs also.

I think it was Meoima, or somebody on youtube, who told me that Abe worked with some russians choreo and coaches? So, I really hope Yulia will be able to work in a near future with her.

^I agree. Ms. Nanami Abe also studied under TAT when she was young, so her style is half Japanese half Russian. It would be wonderful if she get more recognition for her works.
She did Yuzuru's White Legend sp, Romeo 1.0 Lp, his etude programs, Changes ex and other great ex programs for him.
But I wonder has we ever seen any Russian skater working with non-Russian choreographer?
 
I love Ilya’s choreography, he does great programs with Yulia, so why change something that is already amazing? And while some may not like Morozov, he choreographed Yulia’s SP Sabre Dance and it’s one of her best SP to date…very lively and energetic. Anyway, I don’t think the problem is anything to do with music and choreography, both of Yulia’s programs this year are masterpieces, especially Megapolis. As someone mentioned before, the problem seems to be psychological and her stamina has decreased. She does great in the short program, but after the steps in the long she just can’t seem to land jumps. I hope that while the other girls are at Worlds, Yulia and Eteri seriously work on her jumps and endurance problem…so she could come back strong and smoke the haters next season:biggrin:

Tat did some good work for Cohen, and a bonus, it would give Yulia someone powerful in the Fed on her side.

I think Eteri is smart enough to know that politics is part of the sport and would bring in Tat not only choreographing for 1 skater but also that having Tat in her camp might politically help all of her skaters

I think Tat would realize that Yulia has a ton of star power and potential for wins and would latch on in a heartbeat to Yulia's success.
 
As skeptical of the idea as we may be.....Tat is not a bad option. I just think she should take a break from Ilya.

On a less serious note I would love to hear an on ice conversation between Tat and Yulia O_o
