Interestingly enough, I think among all the Russian girls, Yulia's natural style is probably the least "Russian" (in terms of what FS fans think of as Russian). She's more of a light, lyrical skater, whereas the rest of them seem to be more classic "dramatic divas." I'm all about the drama :biggrin:, but a foreign choreographer could be a good fit for Yulia.

Though I sudden thought popped in my head... if the Mulan/Kill Bill thing doesn't work out, what if Yulia tried something folksy? :think:

Ilya treated her badly. He refused to help her when she needed him most (Mulan). He stated publicly more than once that he preferred the style of other skaters and does his best work with them. In the last interview he had nothing good to say about her. His remarks contributed to rumors and speculation. Everybody knows how sensitive she is to speculation and how it effects her performance (Sochi). There was no bias going into that interview, he chose to be negative and talk about private issues. This was discussed at length about 20 pages ago. There is a very real chance that he will undermine her again. As for choreography, she does much of it. Just look at her shows before he came in. There are problems even with names of programs. Remember how he explained at great length that R&J wasn't about R&J. Then there is his attitude that he saved her. This showbiz narcissist isn't what she needs, there is potential for great harm.

With regard to the participation of Yulia in Averbukh's show in Olympic day on 7 February. Admin group VK reported that Yulia plans to be in Sochi at this time, but about participation in the show is not yet aware of...

When she said she started the free at COC 2014 saying she felt she was ready 30-40% and at the GPS ISU she thought could be better 'cause she felt ready at least at 70%...well...no comment about how much ready she was...:hopelessness:
Maybe the "conflict" with Eteri came from this situation: Eteri thought she could go through it, but Yulia knew consciously/inconsciously she couldn't deliver...
 
About foreign Choreographer: maybe I'm too ambitious and out of trend, but a name comes to my mind....

What about Mr. Christopher Dean ??????? Let me dream please ...

IIRC Yulia took 15 minutes to go to the bus at Saitama. I wonder if both of these beautiful ladies were at the ice rink. :biggrin: They will need security guards.

On the occasion of the anniversary of the Olympic Games, 07.02. in Sochi will be held show "Year after the Games"! Yulia will perform in it.
The show will be broadcast directly on 1st channel. Whole 07.02. on 1st channel will be dedicated to OG in Sochi - documentaries, reprises of competition, closing OG ... I suppose that ice show will be held in the evening, from 21:20
