Did everyone notice this, from geiger's translated interview: Yulia finishes only ninth, and it seems that both she and her coach knew that this would happen. The free skate program doesn't work, the new skates leave bloody bruises on her feet,.....

You mean she has become the owner of that apartment, besides the one she got after the Olympics?

I think this is the apartment she received. I read somewhere that instead of the government buying a place for her that the owners of a development saw that she was looking in the area and offered her the place for free. That was reported over the summer but my memory is never that reliable. She only has one place though or else why would she be stuck living at the rink during the busy season so often?

The apartment that she is/was (?) staying, at the moment, was too far from the rink. That's why she had to spend the whole day at the rink. Anyway, the story you told about the apartment she owns it's the one I heard as well.

IIRC, the apartment they promised to her was still undone at that point and she and her mum had to pay the apartment owner an amount to repair it? And she temporarily lived somewhere near the rink?

The apartment was done but she was doing some works. Probably changing something and furnishing.
