Averbukh predicts Sotnikova and Tuktamysheva can have strong next seasons. Ofc, if Adelina wants to compete and not get married, into TV or skating shows (he'd love to have her in his ofc. :rolleye:), they're both post puberty and all depends on their will and determination. Adelina will be forever first single ladies Olympic Champion from Russia and goddess personified;), Elena and Julia may have tough seasons, because of puberty.
Elena for him is the most interesting skater amongst "the pleiad", Julia has had the worst period of her career, there is huge amount of work before her - some fundamental changes: improve ss, raise level of elements, what it's even harder than learning new jumps. Knowing her character he believes "she has a chance to come back with better results."

Usual diplomatic round stuff from Ilya, though not very optimistic in regard to our girl, if you ask me. Whatevs.

elena is more appealing to him because her 'dancerly' style ignites his choreographic imagination. but her weak legs result in ragged jumps ammiright? that would be harder to fix than flutzes or jump height?

can someone please point out exactly what yulia needs to work on, aside from flutzing and jump height, and why it is so daunting? i need to know how optimistic i should be :P

Ilya is playing politics nothing unusual for him. He's out of Yulia's team now, so all his support goes for the mighty CSKA. I believe in Yulia and Eteri, they know better what they need to work on in their training for the next season,lol.
