If she buys into it I think it will be good. Yulia to me seems to be a bit of a hopeless romantic. I think that sort of gels with what Marina does.

It is possible that Marina is simply working on her SS as has been hinted too by some. Maybe someone else is doing the choreography. She did say she would work on the new choreography at the end of April which is when she came to Detroit so it's very likely that someone in Marina's group is doing it.

Eteri choreographed Serafima's SP last year so I bet she is very involved. I can't wait to find out what music she is skating to. :popcorn:

I think getting away from Ilya for at least the time being will be a good thing.

Remember that up to now Eteri does Yulia's feet (watch her feet in this video from 2:04 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0I1BXwd-5-M , they are identical to Yulia's), Yulia does hands-upper body. Yulia needs a collaborator to help her explore musical depth. Marina demonstrates great feeling for music in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_X9wP8-D63o , which is precisely what Yulia needs if she is to reach another level. Ilya demonstrated little feeling for music, he was all about superficial gimmicks that sell to the lowest common denominator of the public. It would be most unfortunate if at any time she were to resume collaboration with him for several reasons amply demonstrated lasts year, not the least of which was artistic.

I'm hoping she is working on her SS, and Peter is doing the choreo for her actually.
