I hope if Yulia is invited to the Japan Open that she politely declines.... she doesn't need that kind of a high pressure event up front and looking at the lineup I think it would be an adverse environment(returning Mao and IMO often overscored Sotoko at home, US ladies when they're hosting Worlds this year and haven't earned a World's medal in a decade, and then Sotnikova). I think Pogorilaya was hurt a bit last season going to the Japan because she didn't compete her SP internationally before the grand prix(though I also think it benefited her that she did pretty well). I think Yulia would be much better off going to Finlandia.

I agree. I think she should start with "real" B competitions, GP's and that's it.

I don't for what is Julia using it, but on my practices we did some balance stuffs like spirals and bielmanns etc.(during the gymnastics practise). The surface is obviously not straight so you have to concentrate to keep yourself up there and not to fall. I think Julia with her skills and flexibility shouldn't have a problem :D

Pretty sure that the meaning of "Yх" is "Oooh" -- like an exclamation. Not "Uh."
