Q: Is Yulia ready for competitions mentally?
A: I think she needs more time.

Q: Yulia learned new spins?
A: Yes.

Q: Both questions about how Yulia and Zhenia communicate with each other.
A: They're good, which means they're in friendly terms.

Do you think Julia, psychologically, ready to compete?
-I think she needs some more time.

Does Julia have new rotations?
-Yes

Why Julia and Eugenia (Medvedeva) do not speak to each other and not friendly?

who answered to those questions ?

If 12yo, who prolly admires you, says you need time with jumps, then yeah, it's disturbing... :slink:
She also wrote, she prefers Zhenya's programs over Julia's from artistic point of view.

PS. yes, I know I'm grumpy, nervous and panicking like a little girl more and more as season start approaches. Don't mind me and my posts, I'm just reverse jinxing our Julichka! :hopelessness:

We will see, after all we don't know if Diana and Julia are close or not .... We can't know if it's an objective finding or not...

I don't think it's disturbing. Worrying, maybe but not exactly that. It's a blunt answer yet it's also the truth. Yulia is reworking her jumps and not everything will work right away. Let's all calm down for now and see bright side to all of this- Yulia has found back her fighting spirit.

Am I the only one a little bothered that she comments on other skaters in her group? Especially when she is the head coach's daughter - she might hear things her mom says that aren't necessarily meant to be shared.

There wasn't a word about jumps.
She was asked only if Yulia is ready (or, more precisely, if she is morally ready) for competitions, Diana said that as she thinks Yulia needs some more time... well, even if it's true, she has time, there are two weeks to the test skates and a month to the first competition.
Besides, Diana could be just careful in her answer, that's why she answered in such an ambiguous way - because how, anyway, she can say for another skater if she is ready or not?..

Yes I was just thinking about that, and very disappointed... I think that when athletes just work together and spend all days together they shouldn't share informations and bad informations about each other... And mainly in the case of Diana, she is the daughter of the coach and the one who shouldn't shared at all of what is seen and said during the practice. All of what she said can be the source of bad interpretations, and in the mouth of a little girl anyone can just ask is it the feeling of Diana or the feeling of Eteri through Diana

I think this is more of a problem of people desperately trying to get some news and using her for it. She's hardly oversharing. And she's 12. People should remind themselves what kind of situation they put the girl in when asking these questions. But ask.fm is probably the last place where people think about what is right or wrong.

I'm going to have to give you some :points: for that^

I think Sorenkay a while back was saying how Julia needs to remove herself a bit from social media. I kind of miss the good old days before Sochi when she was more low key and all buisiness. I understand she has sponsors and obligations to remain relevant and somewhat in a spotlight but for someone who looked to be having a bit of stage fright last season I'm not sure it's not adding pressure in her mind. Before it felt like her against the world. I fear all of us fans are sort of too connected to her and she feels the weight. Like if she messes up she isn't simply letting herself and her team down but a whole pack of adoring fans too.

Maybe that's taking it too far and maybe it's not. I just hope she knows she'll never let me down and I'm sure many others feel the same.

Yeah, she isn't ready. That's why she's going to Nepala.

Now come one people. Let's not make a bid deal out of this. Who's Diana Davis? A 12 years old skater . She's just a kid. It's not like Eteri spoke, or some officials from the FED. ;)

Not a good sign. Of course, said according to the mother-coach, who is not sure and is insured. The same words were before the previous season.

:cheer2:

If I lived in Moscow, there would be 2 videos like that every week.;)
I'd make them sell me a season ticket for Julia's trainings. If they refused, I'd bribe the janitor or just sneak in as a pizza guy or Zamboni serviceman. But seriously, they had installed wires in her lockerroom, write articles on her private life relying on one photo, making up dozen of stories, why aren't they actually interested in her training process? Weird.
