My wife and I saw Julia at Finlandia Trophy just over a week ago. It was our 5th time to see her in person, and the 4th year in a row! In some ways it has been like watching our own children growing up! What a journey!

It is always a priviledge to see her skate, and this was no exception. Even when she is not at her best for whatever reason, she is always compelling, beautiful and artistic. Her performances are full of emotion, speed, athleticism, flexibility, difficulty... and blink-and-you-miss-it intricate details. And when you are there "live", her skating (and her music) are more powerful, and have much more impact, than watching on TV or on youtube etc.

Well anyway - here are some of the photos I took when we were there. I hope everyone can enjoy!

Looking forward to seeing her again at TEB in Bordeaux next month, and hopefully at the Grand Prix Final in Barcelona too!

Yea and I bet even when she's nowhere near her full capabilities, she's still captivating to watch and there's always something to marvel at her other than the jumps alone.

Such a lucky fan you are to be able to have that much chance to go to competitions! Hopefully one day I'll also get the chance to witness it live

It's quite common for that particular brand to put italian flag on their clothes.
