Yulie whhyyyyyyyy :sad46:

Just pouring the salt into the wound now.....it's okay I still love you...my countrywoman...:palmf:
Never can tell when she's being sarcastic or not. ;) especially since she posted this quote/image around The same time:
2016 запомнится как год, когда случилось всё, что не могло случиться
"2016 will be remembered as the year when all that could not happen happened" :rofl2:

Good girl. I always knew that Yulia on the light side. :) :agree:
well I was sure she wouldnt be on the same side with russophobes :confused2::agree:

great art Interspectator!

They will concentrate on getting ready for the Nationals
thats the absolute right thing to do. Imo if not the injury her LP could be a success. She had that feeling of being sure & confident in the SP.

Honestly I don't think Yulia was overweight before and I don't think she's too skinny now. She looked healthy and in good shape in my opinion

Some people do have problems with their sight, and are obsessed with weight. She is fat, the other one is too skinny. :rolleye: We should be patient with them. :sarcasm:

I was watching again her SP in Russia. Boy I loved that performance. So sure in every element. So poised, so smooth and so graceful. I adore that first spin. :luv17: I wish with all my heart to see the FS clean and complete at the RN, because the first half was spot on.
Come on Yulia! Hold on and fight cause you are becoming a beautiful young lady to watch.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!!

EV: I recall when we spoke in Budapest right after Europeans 2014 you hinted you didn't like figure skating, but endure it.
YL: That was the case in the Olympic season. After that, however.. I had a chance to get into a real life and understood I have no idea what is it. The things on the ice didn't work either. At some point I stopped understanding how should I live and what should I do. I didn't care about anything. Now I just try to enjoy it. The skating, meeting friends, the independence. I understand the real life only begins now. In sports as well. I don't endure figure skating, but understand I need it. Perhaps the coach and I will make it?
I also like the mood in the group. I was never exposed to that before: I've been to several groups that were in an inner war so to say. It's an individual sport and we were competing all the time. Even when it seems as if the butterflies were flying above the ice. More than that: I realized figure skating was a very cruel world, which I had to get used to it. And then I switched to Urmanov... I thought they were hiding something at first.

EV: And?
YL: And came to a conclusion I shouldn't even think about it. I just have to cherish the relationship. It's a rare in our sports.

I'm thankful that our girl is mindful of life and seems herself to be quite thankful for those around her.

Worse are the rabid little fan-fascists who intentionally twist your words into an attackable position so as to escalate things into a flame war. I wish I had half their free time.

Anyways, when I poo-poo'd Eteri they all said, "how dare you!" When Eteri was finally fired they all said, "I'm so glad she's gone!"

I'm bemused at how often and contradicting the term 'in shape' gets blasély thrown around in this sport. Most of the time it just seem like a PC-substitute for the F-word (ie. "too fat"), now this time around it's "too skinny".....LOL...let's just completely turn a blind eye to that predominant attitude in figure skating (or any sport/art for that matter involving female aesthetic image/beauty) that "one can never be too skinny so long as you are winning". :sarcasm::rolleye:

Anyhow, back to Yulls.....any word on how Yulia's been doing? The Yulia-news/rumor drought is getting to me. :handw: I hear that she's been seen in her rainbow scarf, galavanting around Sochi in her bright yellow mini-hummer :cool14: blasting 'Twisted Nerve' outta her subwoofers  and running over unsuspecting tourists :dev3:, whilst simultaneously binge-drinking away the region's coffee supply. :coffee:

Urmanov says that Yulia feels all right, that she is training and getting ready for the Nationals. He said that they don't have the final medical report of the medical check-up yet (though some people suppose that he just doesn't want to go into details and make it public  ) - but there were no more pains in her leg, so Yulia continues training.

 I really hope she has added some subwoofers for added boom boomz

This performance She brought the house to the ground! It was funny to me because I'd been following her since she won JWC but you can tell the arena wasn't aware yet of her insane flexibility and unbelievable spins. I just love the look she gives right as she's exiting the rink.
