That smile is worth everything!
I wish more people knew about it, well I do learnt only yesterday after reading newspaper.I'm sorry, I do not know Englishalso, i really didn't like urmanov's behavior in the k&k after the free. he was completely inattentive to yulia despite that she was crushed and needed consoling. alexei was too busy hamming it up for the camera as if yulia didn't even exist. the thing is, he didn't even need to look at her to know she was distraught, he should've known. maybe he has a narcissistic personality disorder and lacks empathy for other people. come to think of it, i also thought it was strange when he goaded her into continuing the skate in spite of her knee.
i'm not high on him right now.

You are a little unfair in relation to Urmarov. Julia has a strong character, she is a real athlete. These athletes do not like self-pity from others, after it suffered a failure. It is necessary to have a lot of the exact behavior, to give support, but do not let pity for Julia. Urmanov was an athlete, he knows what feelings come from the loss.
Julia from an early age is very punishing yourself for failure. Russian fans who love her, little Julia was formerly called the little hedgehog, who is hiding in its burrow. 3 years ago she won the Cup of Russia in 2013, but made a mistake in her skating, so very upset. When Julia was sitting in the K & K, she had a grim face, she hid in a hole like a hedgehog. Comforting her was impossible. She could not take from the people around her to pity. Julia is a great perfectionist. But after moving to Urmanov, she began to treat yourself a little softer. We are grateful to him that Julia thawed.
The official video of the broadcast was not the moment when Alex put his arm around Julia. But this moment caught on video fan. I have no right to bring the URL to the forum. Take it as youtu.be/QbJ4ua3W8ZE?t=8m39s

Yulia, can you start skating again? ....sigh....
Really beautiful, she is a gorgeous young lady now, but as I said above - I wish it were on an ice rink, not in a photo studio....![]()
Thank you. I would be happy, but I do not have the English language. I try to write simple sentences and do not know whether they are sufficiently clear.Welcome to Golden Skate fisherman13. Post often and post long....especially about Yulia.
I almost fell in love with her! (I'm gay.)
. :luv17:. It is healthy to admire beauty in everyone wherever, whenever we find it...Sadly, I can't help having feeling that Yulechka is going to retire. She's my favourite skater, but there have been so many problems during her career and I'm afraid it's just too much for her. Please tell me I'm wrong and give me hope...![]()

I agree with the Russian minister of sports that a skater who wants so much to come back will come back. Moreover, she was getting stronger with each successive competition till this debacle at COR. I’m not sure what the problem was, since there are so many conflicting reports, but apparently it’s not like some new career-ending injury happened at COR. Yulia has had some very serious injuries before, and in time she rebounded from them to reach the ultimate heights. If she’s training now, things can’t be too bad. This time, for the first time in her career, Nationals will be no pressure for her at all: with four apparently healthy ladies qualifying for the GPF, I don’t think the Fed will put Yulia on the Euros/Worlds team even if she skates well at Nats. So she’ll get to skate her competitive programs in a serious, but relaxed (for her) competition. And then she’ll have plenty of time to have her medical issues clarified and resolved.Sadly, I can't help having feeling that Yulechka is going to retire. She's my favourite skater, but there have been so many problems during her career and I'm afraid it's just too much for her. Please tell me I'm wrong and give me hope...
