Ok. Well, no news don't necessarily mean bad news. Maybe she's simply laying low for the moment. If that helps her focusing on getting better, it's a good move.No news about Julia at all.

Well, Julia was only the physical model of Yurio. Nothing more. So to compare the two on the personality is pointless.
+ her love for cats
Yuri Plisetksy cat looks like Chopa! And the only other similiarity is that both were considered genious kids. I don't think no news is bad thing. She needs recovery and rest, so I guess less commotion around her is better for her

Hi Alba! Hasn't Yulls grown up to be a total stunner? That Cup of Russia SP is just so smooth and elegant, and her entire look/demeanour (proudly rocking that rainbow scarf) in the Kiss & Cry afterwards was just....
Right now...I think we are all suffering a bit from Lip-withdrawals, I mean...Yulia needs to post a selfie soon or we'll soon start to go a bit crazy in here.
Yulia communicates a lot through instagram, she is an image person. Her recently posted images have been serene and delightful, that's the message she is sending to us.
Last fall she said the Korean Olympics is her fork in the road. She also quipped she had skated Kill Bill cleanly more than twice in practice. It is important she compete, FS competition is the only remaining obstacle and the crucial measure of her success. For the next year, progress and possibly her future can be judged only in competitions.

Manitou, no one wants this more than Yulia. Post 11191 (p. 747, in English) and post 11190 (p 746, link to Russian) is a thorough, revealing, and for me heartrending interview. Check it out if you missed it.

(and can we stop with the drama because of the lack of news? If she decides to retire tomorrow or in ten years we are going to have to deal with that when it comes, it doesn't do any good to stir s**t every other week)

olympic season doesnt roll yet, this season is even not over yet. I still hope she will rise and have a nice skate again

It's not a problem asking for news, even I want to know new stuff about her. What bothers me is this thing of starting unnecessary drama over her Instagram pictures or a new photoshoot - "oh, why isn't she training instead of taking pics?" "I want Yulia the skater, not the model" and so on.
fortunately not like that, i follow julia after last gpf, so i'm thirsty about her lol. I take instagram update as news
Anyway, do you guys think Julia will use her programs again next season? As she didn't show its full potential?

I really hope she does, her programs this season are a gem better and the best of the Russian ladies this season (I've said it before and will never tire of saying it)
