Nobody hates skaters. There is no such thing as "hating" skaters, unless you deal with a sick psychopath. Yes, there are a few such people here, but they are minority. For example pangpangpangpangfan...
We are talking about "hating" fans of other skaters. And they can really be vicious. I was really fan of Yuna for years, just like many of you, until I came here and saw what her stalkers are capable of. And at the Olympics the amount of negativity and flames that was generated after Adelina's win made me turn away from Yuna completely. I didn't want to identify with their fans, even though Yuna did nothing wrong. It was just too much.
Now, when I learned to avoid potentially venomous threads I start warming up to Yuna again. But the recovery will take some time...

Probably there are people here who hate Yulia's fans, and even call us "creeps" or whatever, and they will continue doing so. I guess Spielberg is a creep too lol. I don't give crap about it...
 
Has anyone noticed that Yulia recieved a -3 GOE from one judge for her layback spin in the SP at Sochi? :laugh:
Not sure where the error occurred whether its on the website or the judge hit the wrong button but we can be sure the error wasn't on the ice. It's bad enough she just fell on her 3f but now you gotta ding the proceeding spin :scowl:

LOLOLOL! The judge must've hit the wrong button. I mean, for certain jumps, I can say it was the angle or whatever, but in what world does her spin deserve -3? This is either proof that a) the conspiracy isn't nearly as well thought-out as some people would like to believe--this judge proves that sheer incompetence is often at play b) the conspiracy is even greater, because they included that -3 to throw us off! Mwahahaha! Evil Russian Villains and their master plans!

I feel the same way as CezarMart about Yuna. I love her and her skating, and I actually think she deserved gold. But the about of hatred and vitriol piled upon Adelina is appalling. Really knocked me into the "All three ladies skated well. I'm happy for all of them and fine with any result" camp. I'm rooting for Adelina, Yulia, and the Russian girls to go out there and kick butt. I mean, there are results I don't agree with and I haven't "let go" after all these years... but I try not to run around spewing hatred at the skaters. It's not their fault.

Why the heck should Yuna fans hate Yulia anyway? She didn't even medal, let alone gold.
 
I'm a Yuna fan and I definitely don't hate Yulia at all. In fact, I like Yulia! :confused: maybe it's because some people are holding her up too high???
 
They were just mad because she dared to be considered a gold medal contender...not Yuna fans I mean but the crazies. The funny thing is, after she fell, the negativity shifted almost immediately over on to Adelina...:p

I'm a fan of both. I love Yuna on and especially off the ice. Out of curiosity which one is being held up too high in your opinion? I think the funny thing is it could apply to both:laugh:

I don't think Yuna's fan hate, or dislike her particularly. They were just angry with the result therefore with the russians in general, especially the ladies and Adelina in this case.
 
I would say both as well :agree:

I just don't get why people are getting riled up and preparing their pitchforks when comparing about their artistry and stuff, that's all. :disapp:

We decided to create a spirit of a lazy June afternoon, we have a lovely bright studio.

Yulia (inscription - about life): the main task - to train, study, and of course keep yourself in shape and in the good mood, therefore so many restrictions everywhere.

Yulia (inscription - about vacations): usually on summer vacation we have 2 weeks to go to sea or something, same in this season.

A little unusual image for Yulia, away from the sport. We choose a gentle girlish pastel-colored dresses, floral print, lace - light, feminine, airy.

Yulia (inscription - about victories): I don't pay any attention to points or whatever, the most important - is my skating.

What about hair and make-up - we choose max natural way, "negligent" curls and minimal make-up.

Yulia (inscription - about everything): seems like, I have all, but nothing has changed... yet.

The other video "moments" that I posted is really good. It doesn't show a single moment of skating but instead captures a lot of other aspects and sheds a different light on the emotions involved from this season.

That's the whole point. For some people there should be only one queen and only one role model for young skaters. Then all other "would-be"s like Yulia are attacked.
