It's refreshing that she has an aversion to media exposure, and doesn't just give canned answers. She's likely still coming to turns with her celebrity status, but lots of personalities know when to bring it out to promote their work, and then keep their private lives quiet when they're not working. Most recent examples include Kate Bush, who is notoriously private but is engaging the media for her current residency of lives shows, and Sandra Bullock, who kept a pending divorce AND an adoption completely private in fall 2009/ winter 2010 when she was campaigning for an Oscar, and nothing came out until a week after she won the Best Actress award. If Yulia's following the same blueprint, then she's a major class act (and at only 15).

Yes, it does look like she tried to hold her edge to the outside at the take off. Still a bit _|_ but I think she is fixing it very well. :yes:
 
Yes I agree but the thing is people are trying to discredit her and say she masks Flips as Lutz's intentionally and should be Zayaked off of podioums. This does not resemble a flip at all IMHO.

Agree. Calling this jump a flip is totally wrong IMO. She is still young so holding her edge in this difficult jump is not easy. But she is training hard for it, I am sure she will be better at this jump. :yes:
 
Here she is grinning uncontrollably after Rostelecom Cup SP where I think she skated it the best other than eventually in the WC's. She was so excited that she shared her toys with her coaches as she shuffled them around and decided who got which ones :).

Maybe he just commented for Yulia and then went down to the rink to watch Adelina. :D

I rewatched Megapolis many times btw and I like it a bit more now. She really tries to hit the notes. I realized (now) that the 2A is also supposed to be jumped on a specific note and such. Really like that! If she refines it, it could work well.

Well they have the same hair and the same beard and I knew that Iliya also is on good terms with Adelina and her team and I was sold with that :biggrin:
But yeah, I looked up some pics of Averbukh again, the guy in the video looks younger and has a different face indeed.
